Our Staff

Lily joined as a tree crop breeder in 2023. She came to the Savanna Institute from a blueberry breeding position after receiving her PhD from University of Wisconsin -Madison in Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics. Lily has worked with a variety of species including sweet corn, pumpkin, miscanthus, and teosinte. She, her wife, and their dog Melon live in Oregon and she enjoys bike commuting, podcasts, and textile arts.
