This season of Appalachian Sustainable Development’s Ask an Agroforester Webinar Series, supported by Virginia Tech and SARE, kicks off on Thursday, Jan 25th at 6:30pm EST with a special topic! We’ll be discussing 3 unique grant opportunities, how they work, and how they might combine/overlap for maximum support of your Agroforestry projects.
We’ll be featuring representatives from these 3 programs, with plenty of time for Q and A:
– The Catalyzing Agroforestry Grant Program (CAGP) funded by the Edwards Mother Earth Foundation.
– The Expanding Agroforestry Project (EAP) funded by the USDA’s Climate Smart Agriculture and Forestry Partnership Initiative.
– The Accelerating Silvopasture Adoption and Carbon Sequestration through Emerging Markets and Technologies (ASSETS) program, funded by a USDA Conservation Innovation Grant.
