Our Staff

Kristy has done a little bit of just about everything since starting with the Savanna Institute in 2017. She leads the education program and online course development and remains deeply connected to planning the Perennial Farm Gathering. She also developed expertise in Midwestern soils and geomorphology through completing a Master’s in Geography at Michigan State University and a PhD in Geography from UW-Madison. Kristy enjoys getting out for walks as much as possible.
