Meet our new executive director, Keefe Keeley!

Tory Dahlhoff - Thursday, July 31, 2014

The Savanna Institute is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has chosen Keefe Keeley as our new Executive Director. We received many outstanding applications to our call, and the Board thoroughly considered all candidates over the last few weeks. We are thrilled to work with someone with such passion and experience.

Keefe is currently wrapping up his Master’s Degree in Agroecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will begin with us immediately in this part-time position. Before returning to graduate school, Keefe racked up solid experience in many areas. With previous work experience on farms, with the USDA, in the nonprofit sector, and in the research world, Keefe brings exactly the wide range of skills and experiences that we were looking for in an Executive Director.
As our young organization moves forward, Keefe is well poised to lead the recruitment of new Case Study farms, support of existing Case Study farmers, and documenting the amazing progress that this movement is already accomplishing.
We hope you all get to meet Keefe in person soon, but in the meantime, please feel free to get in touch with him at
